Trish's Mini Donuts is a Pier 39 institution founded by Canadian expat Trish Conklin in 1994. After her father gave her brother the family carnival business, Trish took her mini donut recipe and hit the road to San Francisco, opening at The PIER and declaring it 'the best thing to ever happen to me.' The sweet, airy mini donuts taste more like churros than traditional donuts, and they're completely addicting — customers line up to watch them being made before popping them in at an astonishing rate. Available by the bag or bucket, these warm, fresh-baked mini donuts have become a must-stop for locals and tourists alike.
