Nicola's Donuts is a beloved North Tampa institution run by owner Diane Rosario, a former kindergarten teacher who fell in love with handmade donuts after tasting one at the original shop. After teaching for 22 years, she bought Nicola's and enlisted her culinary-trained nephew to help master the craft. Diane and her team of four spend most nights in the shop singing karaoke and making donuts from scratch, including original creations. Customers consistently say 'I can taste the love.' Frequently sells out before closing time.
