Their 'Original' glazed yeast doughnut is the star — pulled fresh from the glazer, it literally melts in your mouth and has earned a cult following across Central Kentucky. This family-owned bakery operates on a limited schedule (closed Monday-Tuesday) and opens early, often selling out before noon. Beyond their famous doughnuts, Spalding's also offers filled doughnuts, cake doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, brownies, cakes, and cupcakes for special orders. They now accept credit and debit cards in addition to cash.
