Mass Hole Donuts flips the donut concept on its head — they only sell donut holes, which they call 'the filet mignon of donuts.' Founded by baker Alex Mansfield and his business partner as a pop-up, they opened a brick-and-mortar shop in Arlington before relocating to Teele Square in Somerville. Each hole is named after Massachusetts landmarks and legends with hilarious, punny names. The weekly rotating menu keeps things fresh with creative gourmet flavors. They won Best of Boston 2020 from Boston Magazine. They're fanatical about ingredients — quality comes first, cost second.
