The Garner family opened Sweetwater's Donut Mill in 1983 on Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo with the vision of a rustic, hometown donut shop — and 40+ years later, it's grown into one of Michigan's most beloved donut destinations. Featured on the Food Network, Sweetwater's is famous for their Cheesecake Donut that practically flies off the shelves. Now with three locations across Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, plus a franchising arm (SW's Donut Mill), Sweetwater's has scaled while maintaining the handcrafted quality and traditional recipes that built their reputation. With nearly 30,000 Facebook likes, they've earned a following that extends well beyond Southwest Michigan.
