About
Founded in 2013 by Brian Marsden after a trip to Berlin inspired him to create an elevated doughnut experience, Vincent Van Doughnut won the Cooking Channel's Donut Showdown competition in 2014 and used the prize money to buy a fryer, eventually opening brick-and-mortar shops. Now under ownership of longtime employee Mike McKinlay since 2024, the shop continues to be an essential destination for artisan doughnuts in The Grove neighborhood, crafting handmade treats with the same pride, passion, and vision as the original.
