This charming place, located in the beach town of Sag Harbor, opened in 2016 and has been an incredible place for delicious doughnuts, specialty coffee, and flavored lattes ever since. Grindstone is unique in that it makes brioche and cake donuts daily. The fillings are also cooked with local ingredients and seasonal fruits. The unique flavor profiles put these buttery and golden-crusted doughnuts at the top of the Long Island list. Pancake fans will love the unique maple sea salt, and kids will have a new favorite with the signature summer recipe of Nutella s'mores stuffed with toasted marshmallows. This coffee and doughnut shop features some flavors that are a little more savory, like the delicious lemon poppyseed with lemon zest that's made with lemon oil.
