Greenbush Bakery is the undisputed donut champion of Madison, Wisconsin. Founded in 1996 by Marv 'Donut Man' and Barb Miller, this is the only certified Kosher dairy kitchen between Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Chicago — and their donuts have earned Madison Magazine's Gold for Best Bakery (Sweets). The Regent Street original near UW campus has become a beloved institution, with UW-themed donuts and a reputation that's spread well beyond the isthmus. They serve 14+ types of donuts including chai, blueberry, and cherry, plus seasonal boxes. Once broke their record with 9,000 donuts in a single order. The glazed-and-raised is considered by many to be better than any donut shop in Milwaukee.
