Peachey's Baking Co is a family-owned bakeshop with deep Amish roots, serving homemade, handcrafted doughnuts and pretzels since 1985. Sadie Peachey and her brother Nate use their mother's cherished sourdough donut recipe to create enormous, pillowy vanilla-glazed doughnuts that have become legendary in Sarasota. Starting from tents and trailers, they've grown into two permanent locations plus a food truck. Their doughnuts at $5 each (or $40/dozen) sell out regularly, and the soft pretzels are equally acclaimed. A Sarasota institution.
